Si chiamerà "No Tears, No Fears" e dovrebbe essere molto figo!

It will be entitled "No Tears, No Fears" and should be very cool...!

It will be dedicated to a friend who passed away out of the blue, and was a huge fan like me of the British duo, and frankly, although I had this in mind for a while, he was the spark that fired the beginning fo the works: Laid So Low (Tears Roll Down) has been crafted especially for him.

As usual there will be some guests, and meantime you can listen to it...

ENGLISH BELOW

relaaaaaaaaax

D

Well, it's time to give some anticipation.

I was going to release a 'best of' for the 10 year career, and as any collection that respects, it should have included some unreleased or alternative versions.

I started collecting some tracks, remastering some of them, digging the archives for unreleased material, and at the end of the day I found myself with 11 tracks. Virtually an album.

Agreed with my label, I've welcomed the suggestion of adding another couple of songs, and put out next release as an 'album', not to confuse and surrender the new material, while the 'best of' will be out later this year.

Both always and only in digital, the album on all download and streaming platforms, while the 'best of' only for iTunes at a very low price.

'Life Is A Tape 2007 - 2017' will not be a real album as "23:32" was conceived and the tracklist will consist of:

- a 12 minutes suite I never dared to release before

- the original version of 'Springtime', so far only available in 'Remix'

- 2 covers released last year in "Papeetecafé Saudade" plus another cover that did not find room in the tracklist of the same

- 2 instrumental tracks with Andy G, part of 4 experiments, one of which, "Essence" has recently been released by Lounge Masters.

- 1 remastered track and one remastered and revisited from the first album 'Beautiful Memories ...'

- a new version of 'Basically I'm Fine'

- 1 track that was initially instrumental for a commercial project and I turned it into a song

- 1 song that comes to its third garment

- And finally a track composed yet before Didascalis released something officially, even dating back to 2003, but never done in the studio to this day.

So I can say that the seventh album will be a collection-non-collection, with the sound and flavor that distinguishes my latest productions.

I forgot: it will be called 'Life Is A Tape 2007 - 2017' because it also contains a new, almost acoustic version of 'Life Is A Tape', featuring Garduz - who since playing live with me, adores this song, and sang by Mary.

After all, I think 'Life Is A Tape's' lyrics are one of the deepest and most original things I've ever written.

P.S. As usual, each track will be posted along with a description and a story about it.

P.P.S It will be a more downtempo album than I wished, so: relaaaaaaaax

Didascalistag:didascalis.it,2005:Post/60894432016-06-07T02:00:00+02:002021-08-10T09:15:18+02:0023:32 Traccia per traccia / Track by track

23:32 traccia per traccia.

Breve introduzione:

BLACK, BLUE, RED (feat.

FEET IN THE SAND
CANTALOUPE ISLAND (Andy G Revisited)

CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS (feat. Andy G & Frenky)

DO YOU LIKE IT?

POLICY OF TRUTH

A NEW SUNRISE

(e sveliamoli questi altarini ^_^....)

NEW YEAR'S DAY

FOREVER YOURS, FOREVER MINE (feat. Frensy & Daniele ‘Dano’ Caprelli)

WE’LL NEVER KNOW (feat. Garduz & Eri Ka)

23:32 Track by track

Brief introduction:

23:32 is my sixth album, and I have the impression that it closes the second trilogy of a series of works. "Beatiful Memories", "Loss" and "Basically I'm Fine" (the first three albums) were made in a certain way, with certain technologies available. Then the step, the growth, and perhaps, 23:32 is the most mature of the last three works together with "Enjoy My Wrong Shoes" and "Me, Myself & Someone Else". The need to collaborate with other musicians, who now are part of Didascalis, though not officially, but at the same time the need to regain what was originally Didascalis, which is a project fruit of my mind, make of 23:32 in my opinion the perfect album, fruit of a journey and a musical growth, I do not know where it will take me, but for now marks a last, fleeting element in my discography of which being proud. A bit presumptuous, but a friend once said to me "do always think big!", And in my "little" I try to follow his advice.

BLACK, BLUE, RED (feat. Garduz)
I have always envied those who can write a song with different parts to each other, but on the same chord progression. This time I can say I succeeded in doing it. The lyrics, written for an umprobable audition went bad and who knows for who, I have adapted to a chord sequence that reminds me Incognito and Brand New Heavies (Acid Jazz precursors), and why not accompany this fresh sound with a nice aggressive sax solo? The task fell to Luca Gardini, virtuoso musician discovered in recent years, which creeps into the textures of my songs beautifully.

SURRENDER (feat. Andy G, Frensy & Henrique Pirai)
Why re-arrange a cover? Because you love a song to the point of saying "I wished I wrote it !!", and then try to give it a new look as if I was the author. In all the songs I tried two common denominators unlike previous approaches: to remain higher in bpm (faster songs) and try not to repeat the sounds, if possible within the same track. "Surrender" is a song by Swing Out Sister which still makes me dream, so I unsheathed a production worthy of a substitution, calling Andrea Guerrini which transported impeccably in new key the horn sections, Francesca Castorri, former co-starring in several tracks from "Enjoy My Wrong Shoes" to act as a backing vocalist, and an exotic flavor traverso flute, thanks to a "friend" all the way from Brazil, who I don't personally know , but as fate he worked for an Italian company so connoisseur of my language, and a welcome trade-off with lounge music producer Henrique Pirai from Rio De Janeiro. Being a lover of live versions, I borrowed the idea for the intro and outro of the song by Swing Out Sister when they perform in concert.

FEET IN THE SAND
When someone talks to me about chillout, then that is the seed from which Didascalis was born, I figure out a beach, a sunset, a piano and soft sounds, combined with electronics and a handful of chords. Two to be exact. If you look for my "music soul", well, in this track you can find it. To listen to the sea curling your toes in the sand.

CANTALOUPE ISLAND (Andy G Revisited)
You can make a cover of an instrumental track too, and even more famous than the original by Herbie Hancock (because he composed it), is the mid 90s one of US3. Maybe Andrea (Guerrini) proposed it to me for our fugitive D.A.F. Project, I don't exactly remember when, as if it was a challenge: a succession of four chords, but using only 3, so as to form a sequence 1-2-3-1 , 2-3-1-2, 3-1-2-3, etc etc ... The magic and the ethereality of this song backed by a relentless groove to form a carpet for Andy craftsmanship in all its shades of musician, arranger, master of the trumpet and all its variants.

CAN WE STILL BE FRIENDS (feat. Andy G & Frenky)
Before the TV was overloaded with "TV Series" were the "show", and a series that I loved was on this study of crazy lawyers, whose main character was Ally McBeal. Often after work they were in a pub drinking, celebrating a victory or drowning their sorrows in alcohol, and Vonda Shepard was the pianist singer of this pub. Now & then performing original songs, sometimes covers, and I fell in love with this song, thinking it was of her, heard during an episode. I heard it again in a Live From Daryl's House run by Daryl Hall with his band, and I finally found out who had written this beautiful melody: Todd Rundgren. Impossible not to make a cover in Didascalis style. Rundgren is basically a rocker, so I wanted to break the rule of chillout lounge - keeping Andy open & muted trumpet in the inserts in ¾ - but inserting one goosebumping electric guitar solo, thanks to Marco Franchini, who played 3 takes: the first to rehearse, the others two, one so much more brilliant than the other, I had to choose half and half of each other to be included in this number. Perhaps the most elegant album track.

DO YOU LIKE IT?
Those who follow my program Good Vibes Resort, knows of my passion for two duo (ahahahahah ... pun intended!): dZihan & Kamien, and Tosca (Richard Dorfmeister and Rupert Huber), and I confess that intrigue me those songs where it says it all, by saying nothing; a couple of chords that run from start to end, mostly games of atmospheres, dark for more ... Anyway I'm not as good as them to give an identity to an anonymous song, and then I added elements that distinguish the way I compose (a 'theme' for example...). But the blatant ispiration is taken from those geniuses. The title is a hypothetical question posed to the voice you hear from mid-song onwards, at which you can imagine she is doing ... ;-)

POLICY OF TRUTH
"Enjoy My Wrong Shoes" was an album tribute to Depeche Mode, and the choice of songs for the tracklist had its way. Nonetheless, there are songs that were excluded, but the love for "Policy Of Truth" goes beyond the choices made in the past. In all honesty, I think I covered this song even if it hadn't been written by Martin Gore: I found myself one evening singing on the chord sequence that I used for my interpretation, and simply had to be so ...

A NEW SUNRISE
The fascination for ethnic voices strikes again and sincerely I'm disappointed to have no idea what the beautiful voice is saying, and that guides this journey through a new dawn in an unspecified location in India. The art of counterpoint consists in making coexist more melodies and themes within the same track, independently of each other, and that is what happens between the voice, the classical guitar and the various synth. Close your eyes and let yourself go.

RADIO SIGNALS (feat. Andy G)
A friend told me of an album of a producer, saying that every song was made only of 'samples' (i.e audio parts assembled but not actually being played), and I wanted to try to see if I could make it. And of course I succeeded in part. For me, playing as well as being fundamental, is just an instinct that I cannot not listen, or rather, not finding among the 'samples' available my brain suggests, I feel the need to play them myself! However, I used a Andy G unused take for "Can We Still Be Friends" as a kind of sample ... (let's unfold these secrets ^ _ ^ ....)

NEW YEAR'S DAY
For a couple of times I have released a couple of singles during the Christmas season. The closer to the Christmas period is the beginning of the year. In 2015, once released "Last Christmas" I immediately started thinking which track I choosed for 2016, and inevitably I thought of the U2 song. I am often seized with frenzy, and I can't wait a percise moment to do something. I found myself with this finished, in advance of a year! I reversed the instruments parts, playing the original piano riff with a classical guitar, and entrusted to the synths The Edge solo, so iconic as to be a theme rather than a solo.

FOREVER YOURS, MINE FOREVER (feat. Frensy & Daniel 'Dano' Caprelli)
I do not know why, but over the years, one of the favorite track and instrumental for many has become "Together" - in its first version, among other things not included in any of my albums. I felt that something was missing, so when I released it in "", I did add the soprano sax from Dano, and the voice in a central cameo by Erika Tozzi. "Forever Yours, Forever Mine" is its cousin, using as opposed to "Together", the voice, as if it were an instrumental 'riff' that is repeated, headed by Francesca Castorri, and seeking the same atmospheres of "Together" with Daniele sax soprano, giving a positive flavor to the atmosphere with major chords and with the hope of short lyrics many people hopes, searching / finding his own person: "forever yours, forever mine, nothing will change, we'll just be fine. "

WE'LL NEVER KNOW (feat. Garduz & Eri Ka)
Usually the last song of the album, is the one that ends happily and makes you want to hear it all over again, and 'ballads' are those who succeed me better. A question mark as big as a home between two people who, for various reasons, despite the attraction and affinity, can not be together, and one wonders how it would be (living together) but they'll never know. Luca gives his best in a tenor sax solo that unfolds between harmonic progressions never predictable, and Erika Tozzi, place her own beautiful voice cameo at the end of the song, as if it were the other point of view, the one "of her".
I have already said what I think; I can only wish you 'Enjoy your listening', hoping it will give you the same feeling that I feel ...
York.
Stiamo parlando della stupenda "Be Still My Beating Heart".

English version below

Frensy, ovvero Francesca Castorri, già in "Enjoy The Silence", "Quietly" etc., backing vocals

D

I confess I'm really excited and thrilled making this announce:

on April 25, 2016, "Surrender" will be released, first single taken from my forthcoming album entitled "23:32".

"Surrender" is a cover of the very famous Swing Out Sister single from their debut album; a number I've always loved, so perfect in its own original version, and even more the extended mix, that made me twist it and take it in a totally different direction.

The arrangment is enriched by friends who already took part to my previous productions and who didn't:
Frensy aka Francesca Castorri, already in "Enjoy The Silence", "Quietly" etc., backing vocals
Andy G, aka Andrea Guerrini, who by now don't need any introduction: brass section & flugelhorn
Henrique Piraì, musician and producer too, all the way from Brazil with a cameo on traverso flute

Flavour is nu-jazz, or call it as you prefer...

Fond of the old 45s, this digital single includes 2 non-album tracks (so-called "b-sides"):

"So Simple" is a song I wrote in 2007, lacking of a own identity; the magic of reinvent made it a cutting edge track, suitable to my sound/repertoire and finally it will be released.

"23:32" is a game I wished to play: a track of the album same name but that's not part of it, and it's a brief re-work of an album track differently titled....
Listening to the final Andy solo, stripped down of the arrangment in "Radio Signals", I felt something special, reminding me a night landscape in Manhattan, with blurred lights; removed something, added something else and... I hope I made the idea "musically speaking" of the images that sounds evocated in me...

...and that's all folks!

I've always loved this track from my first release, but, at the time, my studio and mixing skills and hardware too weren't like the ones of today.
So I decided to open the old tracks of the song and remix and remaster them as it should.
Now, I'm happy how it sounds, although I didn't play anything brand new, except for a percussion sample, which, at the time, I wasn't able to stretch and put at tempo!
What a great performance we did on August 11, 2014...

We were 4 on stage, and except for a couple of technical issues, we had one of our best perfomance in a wonderful location with a great audience...

I possibly can say it's been our first gig ever...

Here are some beautiful pictures taken by Domenico Bressan

"West End Girls" a week before the release of my fifth album "Me, Myself & Someone Else" under the pseudonym Didascalis.
In contrast to the digital single "Wrong" which contained two tracks from the album "Enjoy My Wrong Shoes", this EP contains 4 tracks not on the album as well as the single.

"Tequila Sunrise", a cover of the legendary song of the 'Eagles, is the first song that marked the collaboration between myself and Andy G when we met in 2010. I wanted to publish it in the third album "Basically I'm Fine" in 2012, but at the time Andy and I were working on a side project (D.A.F. Project), reworking the song as a much more deep house flavour.
That version has not yet been published although it is in the setlist during the sets of Didascalis LIVE Experience!
Yes, ok: it's a bit messy thing, but, well, this gem was likely not see the light! So, for reasons of sonority and technologies afar from all over the album, I decided to include it in the EP.

"Yet To Come" is one of my original song that has had several changes during processing.
Usually I write about real things; here I made a trip, a meeting with a young girl, on an island at sunset, in a time when you drink but there is no "messiness", everyone is quiet, serene ... and ... the best is yet to come! :-)
In the processing phase I opted for two different arrangements, a more chill (this), and a more electro-acoustic well that differs (in the album).
I could not exclude one or the other: here's how to give them a decent accomodation!

"Superstar" was created just for fun.
I worked with the guys from Relight Orchestra - Robert-eno, Lanzetta & Alex - for this cover, then become a single of theirs, and, for the uninitiated has become the catchphrase in the tune of "La Scossa" in the television program by Carlo Conti " The Legacy/ L'Eredità ", because yes, the idea of covering this was his and sponsored the project.
Initially I have entrusted the task of building the basic items, which became the backing vocals of support to David Laudat (who sang the single - check out the video on the net ... ;-) ...).
To be able to still create all vocals I needed a backing track. But things by halves I am not able to do it, because I have to complete the arrangement. In a moment in which I devote myself to rearrange covers, I could not leave this out, perhaps not in line with the album, but the song is nice , and performed live (always in sets of DLE) has her why! So let us make space in 'E.P.

"Sunrise (Instrumental)" is a cover of the hit by Simply Red, and is nothing more than the voxless version of the one on the album.
A song suffered because left along with another to sing, in a period a little dark, during the final stage of the album. Several attempts and interpretations, and listening and listening again to the 'backing track' I realized how many sounds, nuances and peculiarities had, maybe with a main voice predominant go unnoticed ... I liked it too!
And as was used to do once in the B side of a 45, when you put the instrumental track, I wanted to do it too!

The cover image of the digital single, as well as that of the album, and the artwork is curated by Marco Leonardi; a set of photos, taken on the banks of the Ganges in India, at dawn, during his last trip / photo tour in April 2014.

Within the digital download includes a pdf booklet - release date, for AltaModa (alta142): June 27, 2014.

...many artists (more famous than me obviously ) have lent their voice for a featuring, although different from the genre in which they are doing - Jim Kerr, Dave Gahan, Lenny Kravitz - just to name few...
SO, this time it's my turn... In my private/playing live life I gotta admit I'm a kinda rocker, but Didascalis is my soft & smooth side... I try to keep things apart.
This time I did a kind of mix! LoL.. but.. who cares...
Interesting fact is the 'Didascalis Style' version of the track that you'll find within the release...
Enjoy this funny & and a bit wintery clip!
D

From a while on, I started to upload some podcast on Mixcloud site, driven by some other professional friends djs...

It's a way to promote music I like, I listen to and especially my own productions...

In the first 3 mixes I use to call it 'Personal Selection', then I talked about it to my label, and they suggested to give it a more international flavor so to be able to spread and share it with interested channels... in a while 'Personal Selection' has changed into 'Good Vibes Resort'!

You can go straight to my page by clicking the image below! ... hope you enjoy, share and follow...

Yesterday we did the shooting for the upcoming Didascalis video.

I chose 'It's Called A Heart' since it is the song with more positive feedback amongst all...

We filmed it on the beach not too far from where I live, featuring Andrea 'Andy G' Guerrini who really played brass section and trumpet solo in the song itself, and Daniele Zandoli on double bass...

I also had the appearance of 3 belly dancers, friends of mine, and director is Matteo Santi as for 'Wrong' video

This should be ready for late october/early november...

Here are a couple of shots :-)

Killing The Time is a compilation of tunes old and new, composed in spare moments to kill the time, to have fun, to fight melancholy, while waiting for something to arrive but without knowing exactly what.

Yet To Come was born listening to something similar and to play around with a new classical guitar I bought... by mistake I put a distortion over it and that's what I came up with...

While searching the chords for Calling You I recorded the loop...

It was so magical I had to build around the whole arrangment and ask Andy to put a solo on.

Sailing was a similar consequence.

During 2012 summer I felt the urge of doing something unplugged for a mysterious 'Best Of' which was floating around inside my mind only, so I picked up Fireworks and Memories, two of the most electronic tracks from my first release. Not satisfied with the first vocal attempt of Memories (which became the official one) I had the chance to record it brand new. Now I'm happy with it.

Quietly, Never Alone and Floating Away were attempts to play the new classical guitar although I am not a guitar player at all indeed.

Anyway they came out pretty fine, in a very chillout mood, which often misses in my compositions.

Tequila Sunrise is the first track on which Andy put his touch, and we met each other a couple of days before. The start of a great friendship and collaboration.

A deep-house version belongs to the D.A.F. Project (me & Andy) but God only knows who will release it and when. This version appears as hidden bonus track in Basically I'm Fine album on BandCamp.

That's why it is for free.

This version of Springtime is the first attempt which was intended to be included on the Enjoy My Wrong Shoes album. I love the beat of a kick drum, not necessarily recalling dance music.

After a friend suggested me to change the version, the new one was chosen for the album leaving this one a poor orphan.

Let's give it a home.

Superstar is basically the basic track I used to record vocals for Re-Light Orchestra 2013 version. Once they had all of my takes, lead vocal was excellenty done by David Laudat, with all mines used as backing vocals. Since it was almost crafted, I finished it and did my version.

Killing The Time is "the need to make another Exhausted", which is one of my favourite track of me (lol). So I went back to the old project and used some saxophone takes of my mate Valentino from the same session back in time. I think I succeded in what I was aiming.

Listening to all of them i felt upset in not being able to share them with people; every now and then they sound so beautiful.

It is not an official release, but just made to kill the time.

(english version see below)

EXCUSE ME...

A VIEW TO A KILL.

Inizialmente era solo un intreccio di pads e voce, interpretato quasi ad libitum;

As announced at the release of the second Didascalis work (LOSS), BASICALLY I'M FINE it is the subsequent closing of a period of work, composition and methodical.

The "new" tracks were made in different years with different intentions, and some rebuilt especially for this release.

The guests / collaborators are now limited to my friend and trusted musical partner Andrea 'Andy G' Guerrini, which embellishes with his trumpet and flugelhorn 3 of the 10 tracks.

A brief note, as my usual, on each "paragraph" of this auditory read...

EXCUSE ME ... WHERE'S THE OASIS? and WAITING are part of the pre-Didascalis era, when the first compositions were played exclusively live ... and only for a droll mistake I can say that they are “first cousins”, since WAITING is born by the wrong use of the EMWTO? Pattern, during the long wait for a musician friend who had gone to his car to take the sax ....! (2002 approx), the similarity is no accident ...

once decided to make the studio version I thought it appropriate and adequate recall something of "desert" in the first one, playing a short and simple solo with the instrument I’m graduated in: the oboe.

While in the second I entrusted the task to Andy G.

A VIEW TO A KILL.

When I was asked to make the cover of a song that was the soundtrack of a James Bond movie, for a chill-out compilations dedicated entirely to the music of 'the spy licensed to kill', (Licensed To Chill - MODA Music Fashion November 24, 2008), I picked up one of the bands to which I’m more linked by a matter of age, that is Duran Duran.

For reasons of time I made it very quickly, but I’ve decided anyway to re-release it in a more Didascalisy context without modification, for those who have not heard it yet.

HYPNOSIS and BY THE END belong to the Noises Beyond period ( www.facebook.com / noisesbeyond ), but for some reason are not finished on that project. HYPNOSIS would have a slight taste to the Thievery Corporation sound, and BY THE END is the "second part" of WHAT IF (LOSS), where I began to experience with a higher bmp than my usual.

LIFE IS A TAPE (03/14/2007) I believe is the gem of this small handful of songs. The "demo", as it was, did not get through the opinion of my publisher, and then remained in storage for quite a while.

Played new, re-arranged in 2011, was sent to Andy G for "curiosity" saying that "the song was already well done and finished "....

I was wrong.

Now it is. (Thanks Andy ...)

SOMETHING I FORGOT is part of an attempt I did to make music for documentary that never came to fruition.

Failed attempt, so much that I had forgotten to have it made, hence the title....

BASICALLY I'M FINE has to do with the usual questions to be asked about heart, about relationships, about being in love or alone, in which "basically you’re fine."

It should have a different sound, inspired by a song that had kidnapped my heart at that time (late October 2008), but my pop soul had it better...

or worse ?....

A STRANGE AFTERNOON was the very first experiment (just before MEMORIES - BMOASSB -), experimenting and playing with the first virtual instruments (2001 approx).

Revived in 2011, keeping just the harmonic structure, I gave it a little more chill and less funky taste, and since the first version muted trumpet solo (with a fake one) I said to myself "why not put a real trumpet on, since I know one of the best trumpet player in Romagna ???".

The result came out really nice, and along with LIFE IS A TAPE can be said to be "the two real news of the entire unreleased material"....

BUT NOT TONIGHT, second cover present in BIF was born just the time of a night because of one person, in 2007, and frankly should not even be a song of Didascalis repertoire.

This derives also from the mood in which it was sung.

Initially it was just a mixture of pads and vocals, played almost ad libitum;

later, on recommendation of friends, I completed the arrangement, and I think it deserves to be heard.

As mentioned previously BASICALLY I'M FINE, closes a period and marks the third chapter in DIDASCALIS discography, confirming a more unique sound, although contaminated by so many artists and inspirations of all kinds.

Nasce così BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF A STRANGE SUMMER BREEZE.

In totale ne risultano 24: dodici e dodici.

“In The Afternoon” è la mia preferita.

LOSS could be considered the first time a movie or a show.

The first release as DIDASCALIS for M.O.D.A. Music Fashion goes back to 2007, and is basically a collection of individual songs created one by one and without a thread, that Andrea Corelli decides to join in a digital release, once reached the required number.

The result is BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES OF A STRANGE SUMMER BREEZE.

After that I continued to compose, so many things, and without a definite direction.

Comes a cover of "Waiting For The Night" by Depeche Mode ... attempts a deep-house and minimal ... I work with Valentino Bianchi of Quintorigo and get back in touch with Daniele Caprelli, who has worked in previous tracks ...

And yet I compose ...

I try to create a tracklist similar to BEAUTIFUL MEMORIES, by simply titled "2" when three things happen:

1st: January 2010 my father's loss, who was also a musician and listener to all my creations, and was born the song "Loss (for my Dad)."

2nd: I find I have careless and silent followers in the digital music world, so I ask Andrea to release a second work.

3rd: I find myself with too many numbers for a single release.

We decide therefore to collect as many songs ready as possible, restore and re-publish some others to compile two albums.

In total there are 24 tracks: twelve and twelve. That's why I said LOSS is the first time...

The basic ingredients of inspiration are "inevitable": night, the sounds of nature, heartbreak, electronic which merges with acoustic and wind instruments and Depeche Mode, my great passion.

I think it's fair the title should be changed from "2" to "LOSS": a small tribute to a very important person.

Open "Let Me Breathe" with its feeling of floating in a pond, nose above water, mouth beneath and the gaze is lost in the small waves created by the movement of the body.

"Maybe" would be the heir of "Memories" but dangerously touching the pop world, leaving the chill-out.

"Loss (for my Dad)" offers a brief voice cameo (the only lyrics that came across my mind at such an event) which recalls the Level 42, but then is distracted by an accordion wrapped in electronics.

"The Night" which was previously released is re-sung, re-mixed and enriched by the trumpet of Andrew "Andy G" Guerrini, and bears the label of "restored 2011" as for "I'll Fly With You" and "Together", the latter enhanced by the voice of Erika Tozzi and soprano sax of Daniele 'Dano' Caprelli (also present in "Could It Be" on flute).

"In The Afternoon" is my favorite one. One of those songs that hasn't hypnotic riffs or solos, but makes you listen to it over and over again ...

Sorry: it makes ME...

"What If" lifts up bmps, was born to couples with another track ended up in the other dozen.

"LOSS" and its follow-up, or if you want to "second time" (tentatively titled "BASICALLY I'M FINE") go to close a period: a period of compositions, inspirations, memories, and tech equipment that will remain in the world of digital downloads as paintings on display for everyone.

The context for DIDASCALIS is basically chill-out or electronic lounge, but when I'm listening to established artists in these genres, I perceive to be far from that, to look like but at the same time do not belong.

DIDASCALIS has its own sound: the sound of DIDASCALIS.

Didascalis
